The city with a warm soul
The richest city in Brazil, Sao Paulo is the world’s second largest metropolis and a melting pot of cultures. You can get the best dim sim this side of China because of its large Asian population.
Although overshadowed by its rival city, Rio De Janeiro, Sampa as its locals fondly know it has many things to offer.
Getting there
Operating three major airports, namely Guarulhos International (GRU) for international flights like Emirates and Brazil’s flagship airline, Varig, Viracopos (CPQ) and Congonhas (CGH) service domestic and short haul flights. Use online booking to find the cheapest flights and accommodation. The best seasons for the lowest airfares are January to mid December while the expensive months are June to Aug and mid December onwards.
Transportation
The city is perfect for walking and the public transport is convenient to take you around town. A relatively safe city during the day, checks with your hotel if you decide to walk around at night, as it’s safer to just take a taxi, as they are reliable and plentiful.
Explore
Enjoy the outdoors during the summer visiting the Banespa Tower's observation deck that offers 360-degree views of Sao Paulo, the Parque do Ibirapuera, the Modern Art and Contemporary Art museum, Parque Zoologico de Sao Paulo, one of the largest zoos in the world and Sao Paulo’s oldest museum to name a few.
