CAMELOT HOUSE is a classical Edwardian home with glorious views of Exmoor and the Somerset coast which are hard to beat. Situated on the coast in Blue Anchor Bay just a few miles from Minehead Dunster and Watchet we are a stone’s throw from the sea the West Somerset Railway and a short walk from the local shop beach café and two pubs. Your hosts Wendy and Ashley have taken care to combine an informal atmosphere with a Gold Award standard of B&B accommodation in 4 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms. The mature garden at Camelot House provides another area of relaxation. Our family room accommodates 2 adults and 1 child (10 – 14 years). We are a finalist in the South West Region for the Eviivo Gold Award. Enjoy a 'sea view' breakfast offering a wholesome varied menu including a Aga-cooked traditional English breakfast using many locally-sourced products. The fridge is well stocked with soft drinks and fresh milk and space for anything you may wish to pop in! All bedrooms have excellent views and are well equipped having been completely refurbished. The very comfortable beds have goose down duvets and Egyptian cotton linen. Each room has its own en-suite with powerful showers/bath shower complimentary toiletries and plenty of towels. All rooms are centrally heated and feature flat screen TVs with DVD Wi-Fi access comfortable chairs tea/coffee making facilities hair dryer and alarm clock/radio.

Our guests' sitting room overlooks Blue Anchor Bay and has masses of books and maps as well as a log burning stove - what more could you want! Camelot House stands in its own grounds with several seating areas in the garden. The fridge in the breakfast room is for your convenience and contains fresh milk for your room drinks.

Mobility Description:
We aim to cater for the needs of all who visit Camelot House. The 4 guest bedrooms are on the first floor. All have en-suite facilities. Where ever possible we are happy to move furniture to aid any particular requirements. Regrettably the house is not suitable for wheel chair users. The house is approximately 200 metres from the sea front and Blue Anchor Station. The walk from both is up a moderately steep hill. The driveway is moderately steep. The house is set back about fifteen metres from the road and good lighting is provided. Cars can be driven to the front door for the less able to exit. The walk from the parking area to the house is on level gravel and tarmac. The entrance to the house is via 2 steps. We are very happy to assist guests with luggage. Guests are welcome to use our garden which has a gently sloping lawn. Access to the garden is via a level path leading to a set of irregular steps which has a wooden handrail.

Exit at Jct 23. A39 through Bridgewater and follow signs to MINEHEAD. Travel on the A39 for approx 22 miles and turn right at CARHAMPTON signposted BLUE ANCHOR. Travel on this road for about a mile and CAMELOT HOUSE is on the right with a Victorian Street Lamp close to the road.;
