The Literary Man Óbidos Hotel is a unique literary hotel and the biggest in the world. Located next to the Óbidos Castle, this former convent kept its original charm and was converted in to a hotel called Estalagem do Convento in 1965.
With 30 rooms, the interiors shows an option of traditional decoration and an eco and modern style. The rooms are equipped with LCD's, heating and air conditioning, free WiFi, and some units offer a minibar.
It has various international books distributed for all the hotel, a restaurant, a gin bar and a lounge with an antique fireplace. Guests can choose from a literary menu.

Rooms 7, 8, 9, S1 and S2 – Are bigger spaces with at least 25m2, flat screen tv, mini-bar and balcony.
Flank of the Nuns
Rooms 10 to 18 are divided in smaller rooms with at least 14m2, and bigger rooms with approximately 30m2. The decoration caters for seamless eco-chic design lines complemented with original handcrafted woodworks. All these rooms have 32” flat screen tv, air conditioning
