Drivers can leave their car here if preferred to visit sites along the Wall. The Hadrian's Wall bus service which calls at all the main Roman sites passes the front door. The Old Repeater Station is unique a large detached stone building with a slate roof. The property makes extensive use of eco / green technology including geothermal heating and wood burning stoves. Our water comes from a private source for domestic usage and also heats the building via air source heat pumps. Also provided at The Old Repeater are a licensed bar cafe facilities packed lunches lunch and dinner. Lifts can be arranged to your walking point.
