The three rooms all have flat screen television coffee making facilities memory foam mattresses and en suite bathrooms each with heated floors. This bed and breakfast does not have a lounge for guests use. The Blue Pig lies in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale amongst the hustle and bustle of this busy but beautiful market town. Wireless internet is available to all of our guests and is free of charge. The Blue Pig is ideally situated for guests to explore the town and visit the surrounding countryside. After eating a hearty breakfast made with fresh local produce step outside and you are only minutes away from the 9th Century church and the breathtaking Ruskin's view. John Ruskin once said "it is the most beautiful view in England hence the world". Take a lovely walk by the river Lune and you will see Devils Bridge built in the 12th Century. Go north from Kirkby Lonsdsale and in 25 minutes you will be in the Lake District; go south and in 10 minutes you will be in the Yorkshire Dales; go west and you will be at the coast in 20 minutes. The Blue Pig has three car parking spaces which are for guests to use and because we have some delightful places to dine you do not have to drive. Our aim at the Blue Pig is to make your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible.
