True Lovers Knot is a welcoming public house with a Visit Britain 3 Star Rating. It provides luxury ensuite accommodation as well as offering a camping site for touring caravans and tents. (To book a camping pitch, please click the Non-Serviced Accommodation Tab.) Tarrant Keyneston is on the River Tarrant, located near Blandford Forum. The town was rebuilt in 1731 after a great fire destroyed much of the centre; the work was completed within 30 years by the Bastard brothers, who were noted period architects. As a result it is one of the best preserved Georgian towns in England. The town hosts the week long Great Dorset Steam Fair every September, a large gathering of steam tractors and stationary engines. The True Lovers Knot has something for everyone. From simply enjoying a pint in our traditional front bar or garden, a light bar snack, or sitting down to a full three course meal in our elegant restaurant. There are four luxury ensuite rooms, a caravan and camping site, an enormous garden with children?s play area, all set in the stunning and romantic Dorset countryside. The certified camping and caravan CL site is suitable for touring caravans, motor homes & tents and offers a wide range of facilities.
All rooms are tastefully decorated in a modern-traditional style. All have en-suite, TVs, tea & coffee making facilities and alarms. We use luxury room items such as soaps and you will find all kinds of useful things in your rooms (disposable tooth brushes hair dryers, etc)
The facilities available to all guests include the use of a bar, picnic area and ironing facilities. The True Lovers Knot has on-site parking. For children there is a play area, and games on request, separate children's menu as well as cots and highchairs available. For our business guests there is a photocopier, printer and fax machine available.
