Yew Tree Chapel has been featured on Border TV's programme 'Property matters' and is often photographed. The Sunday School Annex is now a self-catering cottage which skillfully blends characterful original features with a contemporary lifestyle. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 double 1 twin and 1 double room which can be changed into a twin. Each is en-suite and each has a lovely view. Downstairs is the Sunday School room which is the lounge. There is an antique pot-bellied stove like the ones in B/W films but there is under-floor heating throughout. The kitchen has a fan-oven induction hob microwave and a dishwasher. 4 Miles from Alston (Englands highest market town) 9 miles from Hadrian's Wall Slaggyford is situated in Tynedale designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a good area for walking cycling bird watching fishing.
Our guest rooms are ensuite with orthopaedic mattresses. Guests can see heavenly views from the rooms. The rooms have TV/DVD players and cosy underfloor heating.
