Welcome to Ilex House four star award winning guest accommodation located in the small village of West Huntspill in the historic Sedgemoor district. Our aim is for all our guests to feel at home and comfortable during their stay and a warm welcome awaits you when you arrive at our Grade II listed late Georgian house. Situated about 3 miles from the M5 Ilex house is ideally situated for visiting the many beauty spots that North Somerset has to offer. We are only 3 miles from Burnham-on-Sea 7 miles from Bridgwater 20 miles from Wells and other areas such as Cheddar Taunton Minehead and the Quantock Hills are all within easy reach. Bristol Airport is also only approximately 20 miles away. Ilex House offers a large garden that guests are welcome to make use of as well as a guest lounge which looks out onto the garden and has a television video player and radio with a selection of videos and books available. We have two cats in residence and therefore are unable to accept dogs apart from assistance dogs. Tea or coffee and homemade cake is served every afternoon between 3.00pm and 4.30pm. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement.

The three bedrooms retain their original Georgian features and character. They are traditionally decorated and have sash windows. Some rooms have garden views.

The guest sitting room looks out onto the garden and has a television video player and radio with a selection of videos and books available. Guests are welcome to use the large garden which is furnished with tables chairs and umbrellas in good weather.

Guests have an extensive choice of breakfast options including kippers; smoked haddock and poached egg; fresh fruit platter; American-style pancakes with maple syrup; eggs with bacon sausages tomatoes mushrooms and beans; lambs kidneys with bacon tomato and mushrooms; eggs on toast; a continental breakfast; cereal juice & toast.

Directions:
M5 Exit 23 onto the A38 signed to Highbridge and Burnham. Pass through Pawlett and continue for about 1 mile when you will enter West Huntspill. After the speed camera (careful!) you will see the Crossways Inn Pub on the right and we are a short way down on the left. Our car park entrance is on the left at the end of the fence.;
