Holme House is just outside the picturesque village of Piercebrdge famous for its roman remains and beautiful stretch of the River Tees. There are many excellent traditional pubs in nearby villages which serve good food. We are 6 miles from Darlington and about 15 minutes from the ancient cobbled market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond. A convenient stepping stone to the famous Dales.
Holme House is a comfortable spacious property with large windows looking out onto open countryside. The rooms are furnished with a selection of antique furniture and are all fully carpetted. The walls are hung with a combination of watercolours and prints and the overall feel of the house is homely and welcoming.
Guests are made to feel most welcome during their stay. Guests are greeted personally and shown to their rooms. Tea and coffee is available in the large comfortably furnished sitting room which is complete with a log fire and piano. Anne the owner is happy to suggest places of interest in the area and nominate some great pubs locally to have supper. Guests can enjoy the tranquil and relaxing area.

Holme House is not an easy house to access for anyone with a disability. There is a small step at the front door and there is a flight of stairs with 2 small landings and a good bannister rail. There are some other changes of level within the house.
