Located overlooking the Shanklin coastline a holiday on the Isle of Wight at the Cliff Hall hotel offers a superb location, panoramic sea views and the warmest of welcomes.  Built in 1854, for an Admiral, retaining many original features this hotel is traditional and family run with a varied range of accommodation from stunning new junior suites to comfortable budget rooms.  Plenty of on site parking and close to bus stops the hotel’s location is ideal.  Situated on the cliff path, affording its fantastic sea views, within easy reach is the beach, Shanklin new and historic old towns and the coastline feature the ‘Shanklin Chine’.  Shanklin Theatre host great performances throughout the year and is in within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel has been recently graded as one of the Isle’s first metro hotels indicating its central location to many eateries, pubs and restaurants, food therefore, will not be served daily, especially out of high season. 

NEW FOR 2013/2014. The hotel is proud to announce that it has also achieved a grading of a level M1 , Under the National Accessible Scheme. This means that some rooms are suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but who would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance. We cater for children of all ages. In the large bar/ conservatory area there is a games cupboard. This has puzzles, cards, dominos and a selection of board games for the younger children. There is a TV area and a large outside sun terrace and games area, which is beautifully secluded and a real sun trap. The garden has a selection of garden furniture and loungers for relaxing or dining outside. Our well equipped bar will entice you to have an early evening drink and take in the outstanding sea views.

Accommodation
 

We have 20 guests rooms within the Hotel, including triples, singles, twins, doubles and family rooms. We also have cots & highchairs for infants. These are free of charge, please request at time of booking. Our rooms are comfortable and pleasantly furnished, with over 70% of them offering sea views. Many of the rooms have outlooks towards Sandown Bay, Culver Cliffs and Shanklin Chine. You can also enjoy the fantastic sea views either from our garden, dining room or conservatory.

SUPERIOR/SUPERIOIR SEA VIEW ROOMS are the rooms that have achieved the mobility level 1 grading. Although these rooms can be sold for normal occupancy, they can also be sold for the less mobile.
They are equipped with extra facilities as they are all ground floor and have non slip floors, grab rails in the showers and bathrooms and lower level mirrors for wheelchair users. Also on request we can provide lever taps for the basins and shower chairs (please note for those wanting to book with normal ability the extra facilities should be seen as a enhancement and do not effect the quality of these fantastic Junior Suites which offer space and high décor)
 

There is a small supplement for rooms with sea views, please enquire at time of booking, also a single supplement does apply on any room other than a single room if needed for sole use.

All rooms are en-suite with bath or shower and have hospitality trays, colour TV, central heating or heaters, toiletries and towels.

We do ask that guests kindly bring their own pool side towels.

Premier/Superior rooms all have king size beds and superior sea views. Available from £12-20 extra per room per night.
