At Squires you are within a short stroll of the famous Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake is said to have finished his game of bowls before setting sail to confront the Spanish Armada. Walk across Plymouth Hoe and along the promenade in front of the Royal Citadel and soon you reach the Mayflower Steps from where the Pilgrim Fathers finally left our shores to found their new lives in America. You will then be in the old Barbican area with its narrow streets art galleries pubs and restaurants and harbour area . Plymouth is a major centre for the South West and has many other attractions including a brand new shopping centre Drake Circus the Theatre Royal the National Marine Aquarium and Plymouth Pavilions. It is also of course within easy reach of the beaches of Devon and Cornwall the Eden Project Dartmoor the South Hams and Torbay. Most of the rooms at Squires are ensuite and equipped with refreshment tray colour TV hairdryer and a radio alarm clock. Free WiFi . A full English breakfast is served to guests in the morning. We have single twin and double rooms most of which have ensuite bathrooms. All are decorated and furnished to a good standard and come equipped with colour TV radio alarm clock hairdryer and a refreshment tray.

Squires Guest House is non smoking throughout. WiFi access is available for guests to use. Parking is outside the Guest House on Pay and Display. As of the 1st April 2017 the charges are : £1.50 per hour from 8am to 6pm. Overnight parking is 6pm through to 8am the next morning cost £2. Or we have Visitors daily Tickets which are £5 this allows you to park all day until 10am the following morning. We will advise you of the best (cheapest) option when you arrive.
