On the former site of the McGavin Brewery, one of the first and once-largest breweries in Dunedin, New Zealand, the property was built in 1978. The brewery, which produced its final batch of beer in 1958, was relocated to the Speights Brewery in 1971. But, to preserve the sites rich heritage, the stone Oast House, a former malting kiln, was converted into a conference space that can accommodate up to 50 people for weddings and gatherings. Also, the bigger McGavin Room has space for up to 100 guests. You to eat outside at McGavins Restaurant & Bar on those warm evenings, or stay cozy inside and savor delectable fare.
