Coral Sands Hotel is located on the finest sea frontage on the southern coast right opposite the only marine park in Sri Lanka. Tours may also be arranged to visit the ancient cities, the hill Capital Kandy, the elephant orphanage and Nuwara Eliya.

The complex is situated about three hours drive away from the airport. Within a kilometer from the hotel the best surfing beach with abundant waves considered the best in south-east Asia can be found.
