The Lord Nelson Inn was purchased by Richard Margaret and Joan Cotterill in 2004. Since then the Inn has been extensively renovated and modernised. We have been awarded 4 Stars by Visit Britain every year since we opened. Meals are served from 6.30-9.00pm every evening and from 12.30-2.30pm on Sundays. Breakfast for guests is served from 8.00am to 9.30am. Brands stocked include Guinness Strongbow Fosters Kronenbourg 1664 John Smiths Smooth Theakston's Best Bitter and Theakston's XB. Both our double rooms are en-suite and have LCD TV with Freeview hot drinks tray hair dryer and alarm clock.

Both our guest rooms are situated upstairs on the first floor. The staircase has a handrail. Downstairs is generally all on the same level but being an old building there are a few steps.

Directions:
If travelling north on the A1 leave at the junction for Newark on Trent and Lincoln (A46). At the roundabout take the first exit towards Lincoln (A46) and keep in the left hand lane. Filter left at the next roundabout and continue on the A46 towards Lincoln. At the next roundabout take the first exit towards Collingham and Gainsborough (A1133). Travel through the villages of Langford and Collingham. Besthorpe is 2 miles after Collingham and we are situated on the left hand side of the road.;
