The Snell family have been farming in Somerset for five generations and have turned their hand to most things including dairy beef pigs poultry and cider to name but a few. Today however the farm is purely an organic producer of beef. Longcroft has been the family home since WWII. The farmyard is made up of a collection of barns including stables and the old dairy which is now Francis House Minty's Barn and Opie Cottage - our self-catering accommodation. Whether you like a relaxing stay with a home-cooked breakfast or self catering in your own private kitchen The Farmyard offers you the option to design the stay you require.

Each apartment boasts a large entrance hall which leads to the sitting room and a hidden compact kitchen which in turn opens out onto the patio. The bedroom with its king size bed and Egyptian cotton sheets looks out across the lake and through the valley to the Mendips. Three of the apartments have a large bathroom with walk in shower whilst two have roll top baths downstairs and wet rooms upstairs.
