Welcome to Bramble Corner Bed & Breakfast here in the Cambridgeshire village of Bluntisham on the edge of the Fens This Victorian villa was originally built in 1880 and has been added to over the years to now offer four letting rooms two doubles and a single with en-suites and a twin room with private bathroom on the ground floor. Kay and Martin have been the owners of Bramble Corner for nearly ten years and have been rated as 4 star accommodation by Visit England which has helped us go from 18% booking level in year one to 68% currently. The property with its large car park sits in about a third of an acre of land including a Victoria plum orchard. All supplies or ingredients are locally sourced with provenance Location wise we are well placed for the historical riverside town of St. Ives about 2.5 miles West and Cambridge Peterborough Ely and the main roads (A14 M11 A1(M) etc.) Apart from the recently opened section of the RSPB Wetland Trust area within a three mile radius there is golf (at the newly located St. Ives Golf Club) sailing walking (the Ouse Valley Way) fishing canoeing river boat hire and local sports centre for swimming etc. Further afield there are many ancient monuments stately homes wildlife parks and a host of other things to visit. Cambridge itself with its connection with the famous University is a must to look around and the open top bus tour is an absolute must. There are four bedrooms all of which are either en-suite or with private bathroom and either double twin bedded or single rooms . All rooms have flat screen colour TV with Freeview hospitality tray hair dryer and toiletries for your use. We provide FREE WIFI subject to the continuing provision of our Broadband supplier. Guests are advised that we reserve the right to terminate this facilty should inappropriate viewing be taking place.
We have a large off road car park (for up to 8 cars) a garden and orchard which during the better weather guests are cordially invited to take advantage of should they wish to do so. We have an excellent Budgen's supermarket at the beginning of the village located at the BP petrol station together with a cafe hairdressers.

Eco Policy:
Apart from no smoking take away meals are not allowed to be brought into the property. We have energy saving light bulbs fitted and request that guests do not leave any electrical appliance on standby. If guests are staying longer than one night we do ask if you would dry your towels on the radiators and reuse to avoid washing time water and washing powder. All our toilet flushes have the option of a smaller flush button.

Mobility Description:
We have a downstairs twin bedded room for guests who may be incapacitated in some way or have problems with stairs. This room has its' own downstairs bathroom with easy access. This includes an easy to use shower wash basin and toilet with two optional flush levels in line with "Green" requirements and Eco friendliness. We provide dressing gowns for your comfort in this room

- Bramble Corner has a dining room for up to 10 guests off the main hall. Guests can choose either a full English cooked breakfast or Continental. Guests can order their breakfast either the night before if they need to leave early or when they come down in the morning. Breakfast is normally served between 7.30 and 9.00 during the week and 8.30 and 9.30 on Sundays

Directions:
From St. Ives follow the A1123 from the Harrison Way roundabout heading towards Needingworth. Go across the roundabout to the end of the bypass where the roads begins to wind. You will come to and go over a railway bridge and a BP station will be on your right. Carry on forward round a slight bend to the right and you will see the large pale green colour house on the right which is Bramble Corner. At the side of the house is a large drive down to the car park at the rear where you can park.;
