Deep in the heart of beautiful Somerset is the historical and mystical town of Glastonbury, where this family-run inn nestles in the shadow of the Abbey Ruins and is overlooked by the magical Glastonbury Tor. The pub is centrally located in a bustling part of the town and has a bar and garden which is open to the public. We offer warm, clean, comfortable rooms for the weary traveller. The Market House Inn is an entertaining hotspot with a wonderful atmosphere. As well as accommodation, it has a restaurant where breakfast is served, a bar and plenty of live entertainment. Long term accommodation is available. We have a total of eight letting rooms; six of which have shared bathroom facilities. Our one en-suite room and one family room with private bathroom overlook our popular garden and at weekends are ideal for visitors wishing to fully participate in the active social life of this busy town centre inn. If you like to sleep at 11.30; this is not the place for you, as on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the garden is open until after midnight. Midweek is more suitable for those looking for a quiet break. The Market House Inn has a well used, award winning (beer) garden, restaurant, pool table, skittle alley, live music, and a very warm welcome. Car-parking is available in the public carpark direcetly opposite the front of the hotel and is free from 6.00pm to 9.00am Free Wi-Fi internet access is now available in most rooms.
All rooms have colour TV, digi box and tea and coffee making facilities with cream and milk. A full English breakfast is included with your accommodation and is served in our restaurant from 8.30am to 10.00am.
The large cosmopolitan bar has a huge selection of cold beers and fine wines and spirits from around the world. The conservatory leads onto the patio and into the garden. Sit among the flowers and soak up the magic that is Glastonbury. A large selection traditional bar and other games available.

Mobility Description:
We have one ground floor ensuite room (rm7) which has an access ramp and sufficent space to accomodate a wheelchair. We can provide a bath seat, w.c. surround for people with mobility problems although the bathroom is not fully fitted for disabled people. We can lend a light weight folding wheel chair and a motorised buggy (security deposit/credit card necessary) We will always do our utmost to ensure that disabled guests are as comfortable as possible. Please note that for disabled guests we DO NOT advise using this room with the additional third bed as this may restrict the space available for manoevering a wheelchair.
