Plas Uchaf is an imposing early 18th century brick house set on the lower slopes of Llwyn Bryn-Dinas providing a spectacular backdrop to the house. Plas Uchaf means the place above which is perfect for our house on the hill. The house is set in six acres of grounds and is arranged over three floors all offering splendid views of rolling fields and pastures studded with mature oaks and conifers rising from the Tanat valley. In the past Plas Uchaf has been used as a dower house a vicarage and a residential home. Whatever your plans whether it be a long stay to discover the beauty of Shropshire or Snowdonia a romantic weekend a chance to unwind with the family a conference or a wedding Plas Uchaf is the perfect location. We can promise you a warm welcome and attentive service whilst you relax in the comfortable and gracious surroundings of our Queen Anne house which nestles into a hillside overlooking the Tanat Valley. Guests are able to use a spacious comfortable lounge with a cosy wood burning stove. There are plenty of books to borrow and browse through and a fully licensed bar. During the summer French windows open out onto the lawn where you can sit and drink in the view. Explore the paths that lead through different areas of the garden or play a game of croquet or tennis during the summer months. All of our premier and standard rooms offer ensuite or private bathroom lovely views welcome tray TV and digital radio alarm and complementary toiletries. In addition our spacious premier rooms have king or super king sized beds i-pod docks DVD players and larger ensuite facilities. A continental and full cooked breakfast is available. We can also offer evening meals with prior arrangement. If you prefer to eat out there are many nice pubs close by.

Mobility Description:
We pride ourselves in offering professional and friendly service to all our guests. Attention to detail which make your stay with us comfortable & relaxing is important to us. The Garden Room is on the ground floor which is adjacent to the main house. It is 50 metres from the main door of the house. There is one step into the garden room (160mm) which has ensuite facilities one step into the shower (270mm). Assistance dogs are welcomed. There is ample area to exercise dogs. The main house has one step into reception (90mm). The guest lounge & dining room are on the ground floor. There are no steps. Service is available in the dining room and guest lounge. All doors on the ground floor & Garden Room are 800mm wide or wider. Reception desk is at a low level & clipboards are available if necessary. The car park is gravelled & flat. Cars can drive within 2 metres of the Garden Room to access it. There is ample free parking. We are happy to assist guests with luggage.

Dining Facilities:
- We enjoy our food and always use quality local produce whenever possible. Breakfasts are served in the dining room from 7.30am to 9.00am. Of course individual arrangements can always be made to suit your needs. Our sideboard is filled with a wide choice of cereals fresh fruits compotes and juices which you can follow up with a hearty Plas Uchaf cooked breakfast. Evening meals are available on request.
