Millhouse has been home to our family since it was converted from a derelict farm steading in 2004. The octagonal kitchen used to be the actual horse mill and it is from here that delicious breakfasts are prepared for you. The house stands in a picturesque and quiet location surrounded by farmland but is still only 7 minutes drive from the centre of St Andrews. We have 2 guest rooms which are warm and comfortable each with a sparklingly clean ensuite shower room and we have provided a few thoughtful extras to ensure that you feel very much at home whilst you are with us. After a restful night you will wake to a delicious Scottish breakfast we use the freshest and finest local produce as much as possible and buy from our nearby Farmer's markets on a regular basis. During the summer months you can enjoy the freshly picked locally grown soft fruits for which Fife is renowned. After a busy day of sightseeing you can relax in our guest lounge where you can watch TV read play a game or plan for your next day activities. For those who wish to stay connected we have free wireless internet access so just bring your laptop and you can connect in the comfort of your own room. For many it is the golf that brings them here. St Andrews is the seat of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club the town has 7 courses - including the famous Old Course beloved by champions past and present many golf shops and the British Golf Museum which is full of interesting exhibits. Others come for the award winning beaches - scenes for Chariots of Fire were filmed on the 2 mile long West Sands and the smaller East Sands is a favourite for sailing and watersports enthusiasts. St Andrews boasts a fine selection of restaurants excellent shopping and many visitor attractions and entertainments. The timeless atmosphere of St Andrews will last in your memory long after you have returned home.
