Our spaces are endowed with either a kitchen or fold-in kitchenette so as to allow a completely self-catering and private stay. The living areas are vast – at 40-75sq metres in the suites and 100sq metres in the Premier Suite, far more spacious than the average Florentine hotel room. Select suites feature ample furnished terraces which give onto romantic views of tiled rooftops – the perfect place to relax and contemplate the beauty of Florence.
The interiors are the work of renowned Florentine interior designer Michele Bonan, and have been conceived to offer the Palazzo’s guests both the very finest comforts and state-of-the-art technology. All bear Bonan’s hallmark stamp of international contemporary elegance. Wide pale-oak planks line the floors, while pale lacquers clad the insides of the ample closets, which, thanks to the clever and generous placement of mirrors, leverage light and create a sense of vast space.
Furnishings are a mix of light oak and pale cream boiserie; sumptuous divans and sofas are upholstered in rich wools, linens and velvets, and showcase Bonan’s signature flair for colour, from dusty blues and periwinkles to the graphic contrast of deep navy, aubergine and oxblood with ivory.Leather upholstery and inserts on the chairs, tables and banquettes lends a sense of luxurious ease, as do the elegant hand-joined bookshelves. Walls are hung with a unique collection of sketches, drawings and engravings from the Istituto d’Arte di Firenze, all individually hand-framed.The bathrooms are lavish and deeply comfortable, clad in cocoa-hued “mou” stone and featuring ample rain-showers and full-sized bath tubs, and detailed with elegant chrome taps and shelving.
