Bowness is a fantastic base in which to discover what the Lake District has to offer, whether it be walking, on a bus tour, or by guided excursion. Our guest house is also next door to the famous World of Beatrix Potter attraction. We have five double rooms and two spacious family rooms. At Monties we also have a cafe which is open all day. Why not sample a delicious breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or homemade cakes. If you fancy a glass of wine, we can offer you a fantastic wine list to choose from! Bowness is a busy village and has a real holiday feel in the evenings; there is a wide range of places to eat from gastro pubs, Chinese, Italian and lots of good pubs serving local ales - you really will be spoilt for choice.

We have a choice of single, double and family rooms. Each room is clean and comfortably furnished.

There is a cafe and bar at Monties. Parking is available; we have 3 parking bays available on a first come, first served basis. These are free, although we cannot guarantee them. Main car park is 50 yards from the guesthouse.
