Take the M40 to the end where it joins the M42 at junction 3a. Take the left hand carriageway signposted Birmingham Airport and Birmingham Central. Stay on until junction 7 (10.5 miles) which is the junction for the M6 North. Stay on the M6 until junction 5 (3 miles). Off the motorway junction take the third exit signposted A452 Cannock.
