The environmentally friendly eco resort has been designed to harmonise with the local landscape and conserve resources, with grey water tanks and all buildings designed to maximise the benefits of local ventilation. With only 15 rooms, the hotel has a spacious and peaceful atmosphere where guests can experience the delights of nature from the comfort of their own terrace. All rooms are insulated, water is heated with solar power and energy efficient lighting is used.
The resort comprises 5 villas and offers a cafe, restaurant, conference facilities and Internet access. The resort is a peaceful coastal haven only 220 km to the southeast of Bangkok or about 3 hours by car. It is also only a 10-minute walk from the Kung Wiman Beach, which is a good alternative to the other eastern beaches of Ko Chang or Pattaya. Every room has a view and the hotel has a range of styles to suit guests' inpidual preferences. The rooms are equipped with a shower/bathtub, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and inpidually regulated air conditioning. For those who are interested in ecotourism or cultural tourism there are many interesting activities around the resort. One of the easiest is bird watching.
By sitting quietly, many beautiful and unusual birds can be spotted. The resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, massage and spa treatments and biking. Driving from Bangkok, guests should take the eastern motorway to Bang Na, then Ban Buen before turning onto highway 344 toward Klaeng and Chanthaburi. Turn left onto highway 3 at Klaeng and then, turn right onto highway 3399 after 32 kilometres, and continue to Kung Wiman. The hotel will be on the right, 300 m before reaching the sea.
