According to tradition William Shakespeare stayed here on several occasions when en route between Stratford upon Avon and London and it is said he may have gained inspiration during one of his sojourns here for "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Choose from our range of rooms priced to suit all pockets: our largest room is The Shakespeare Suite stunningly appointed with a queen sized bed en suite walk in shower room with body jets double sink vanity and toilet. Ours is a non smoking house. Titania's Bower is a light and airy contemporarily panelled room with four poster queen sized bed with private bathroom.
The house is arranged over three floors; on the ground floor there is a communal drawing room with large ingle nook fireplace and television. We have a beautifully restored parterre garden to the rear of the property offering the perfect place to relax and unwind in good weather.

As an old listed building we do have some constraints centred on the structure of the building and as such we are currently unable to offer dedicated rooms or facilities for the less able. However upon contacting us to enquire after or make a reservation we will discuss any special needs and describe how we can endeavour to be of assistance to the best of our ability. If following this assessment we feel we are unable to accommodate any potential resident comfortably we will make every attempt to suggest a suitable alternative within the area.

- Breakfast is included in the room tariff where possible we use locally produced high quality ingredients. Afternoon Tea relax in the garden on a warm day or take tea in the Drawing Room or Morning Room. We serve afternoon tea from 3.30 pm until 4.30 pm Tuesday to Sunday by reservation only offering a selection of finger sandwiches scones and cakes all our breads are made fresh on the premises.
