We are a family run Guest House situated near to the town centre of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Being a private cul-de-sac, the house enjoys a quieter than normal atmosphere. We have on site parking for 6 vehicles. We are within 3 minutes walk of the town centre and shops. Local attractions include Chatsworth ? home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire; Haddon Hall ? home of Lord and Lady Edward Manners and location for the Jane Eyre film. Local activities include climbing Froggart Edge; exploring Ladybower and Derwent reservoirs in the Derwent Valley; walking in the Peak District National Park; discovering the plague village of Eyam; visiting the Peak Rail museum at Matlock and many many more. Room 1 is a double with en-suite bathroom. Room 2 is a double with en-suite shower room and overlooks the golf course. Room 3 is a double with en-suite bathroom and overlooks the church. All rooms have television and tea/coffee making facilities. These are all at first floor level (there is no lift access) with the dining room at ground floor. Ironing facilities can be provided on request.
