The drawing room has big comfy sofas for a relaxing evening with a log/coal fire in the winter. Heathcote House is the perfect place for exploring the captivating county of Dorset with countryside little changed from the times of author Thomas Hardy. There is plenty to occupy you whether you want to visit a historic house or garden walk in some of the most unspoilt countryside through historic landscapes. There are Museums and attractions to suit all interests and the dramatic World Heritage Jurassic coast is within easy reach. All the sporting and leisure activities are in abundance.
