Millstream House Bed and Breakfast was established in spring 2010 with a newly prepared private detached suite which offers luxury accommodation for couples or families. Set over 2 floors the suite has all you need for a very comfortable relaxing stay and is more akin to a small cottage than a tradition B&B. The suite has a large entrance hall ideal for bikes walking or fishing gear. It has a well equipped dining room with fridge microwave toaster and utensils allowing you to dine in comfort. There is a good sized bathroom with corner shower bath and upstairs is a large bedroom area offering a double bed and a lounge area 2 single beds used for children when required or as a sofa. We provide each moring a tray packed with fresh food which comprises of cereals yogurt bread croisants ham cheese and preserves. We also ensure the fridge is well stocked with fresh milk juice butter and fruit. Tea and freshly ground coffee is also available. The suite has high quality decoration and luxurious bed linen towels and toiletries. A room only tarrif is available if preferred. Tea and coffee is supplied and the dining room is still well equiped. The suite located in The Green which is nestled between Black Combe mountain the Duddon Estuary and award winning sandy beaches. This is a beautiful peaceful area of the South Lakes district offering quite seclusion away from the main traditional tourist areas. Close by is the small market village of Broughton-in-Furness which offers great pubs and local shops. Coniston water is a short drive away with excellent facilities for sailing and offers superb hill walking. The wonderful old fishing hamlet of Ravenglass is within easy reach with the superb Muncaster castle and "Little Ratty" railway line into Eskdale with access to Scarfell Pike. Dogs are welcome to stay all we ask that they are not left alone in the suite and are not allowed in the bedroom area.

On the ground floor the suite has a large entrance hall with ample space for coats bikes and other outdoor gear. Also on the ground floor is the dining room and family sized bathroom with corner shower bath. Upstairs is the large bedroom area with a raised lounge area. The bedroom had a double bed and two single beds (in the lounge area) with flatscreen TV/DVD dressing table bedside cabinets and set of drawers.

Directions:
Take the A595 from Broughton towards Millom. After approx. 3 miles you will see the turning for Millom. Just before this turning turn left into Chapel Brow signposted Hallthwaites. Follow the road through the village of Hallthwaites over a small bridge to the "T" junction and turn right. Continue on for 1/4 mile and take the first right into Stonebridge Close (no signpost). Follow the close round to the right and Millstream House is at the end of the close simply drive onto the drive.;
