In the early 1900s the house belonged to a well known local author Christopher Bush (pseudonym Michael Home) who wrote about his recollections of his childhood in the village of Great Hockham. He also wrote award winning detective novels. Home Hall has recently been sympathetically renovated and the gardens landscaped drawing on inspiration from research and the Gardens of the National Trust! Your stay will be a unique and very individual experience as you soak up the history of Home Hall.
Home Hall offers guests full use of the garden the drawing room the gallery and the Summerhouse to relax in. There is also free car parking on site and free internet access. Mobility Description:
This beautiful Georgian house was originally built in a conservation area as a family home and is not a purpose built B&B. All bedrooms are on the first floor accessed by stairs. The front entrance is accessed via one stone step up. There is a small step down from the front entrance hall to the main part of the house. The rest of the ground floor is all on one level from the guest lounge through the music room with a small step down into the dining room. The cloakroom toilet is just off the front entrance hall. There is a staircase to the first floor with 11 steps to access the Edwardian Suite and James Room and another staircase with 13 steps to the Victorian Suite and the Georgian. There is a step down to the bathroom within the Edwardian Suite a step up to James Room and there is a threshold/step within the Victorian Suite. There is also a step down to the terrace and a step up to the lawn

- Our Oak Panelled Dining Room seats 15. Your Organic Breakfast may also be taken in the garden. Although predominately Bed & Breakfast Organic Meals are prepared and served along the Fine Dining style and is available when ordered in advance. Please ask for details. All meals are Organic using mainly locally sourced ingredients when in season. Packed lunches can be supplied just ask. Evening meals can be booked for your non-resident guests meetings celebrations or family get-togethers!

At the village green bear Left onto the Watton Road. Then take the 2nd left into Vicarage Road follow the tall hedge and Home Hall is the first property on the left.
