Gorno Grove has been lovingly rebuilt, seamlessly blending modern architecture with original 1850s stone walls. A galleried entrance hall opens into the dining room where guests dine with their hosts. A large sitting room with wonderful views over the landscape, has a roaring fire in the hearth in the winter, fine pictures and a piano waiting to be played. Strathmiglo is situated in the Howe of Fife bounded on the south by the hills of East and West Lomond and to the north by the Ochil Hills. The River Eden which runs into the sea at St Andrews rises to the west above the village of Gateside and flows through the Strath. Five miles distant from Strathmiglo is the village of Falkland and its famous Palace country hunting lodge for the Kings and Queens of Scotland. The village is itself charming with lots of flowers and small stone cottages. On a clear day there are excellent views from the top of the road which runs up the shoulder of East Lomond about one mile beyond Falkland on the road to Glenrothes. We offer two bed rooms for guests with en suite facilities, television and tea making facilities. The spacious lounge provides a wonderful place to relax. Plenty of glass makes it a light and airy room as well as providing views to the west and south to the Lomond Hills

Directions:
Gorno Grove is situated on the north side of the A91 Stirling to St Andrews Road, between Gateside and Strathmiglo. Coming from the west or south you should come off the M90 motorway at junction 8. About 1 mile beyond Gateside there is a large layby on the left. Just past this, marked by a white post with reflective red collar is the driveway to Gorno Grove House.
