Eco Policy:
The Guildhall Tavern is committed to best practice through its environmental policy which aims to reduce the impact we have. We use licenced recycling contractors to handle the waste we produce along with using some of the latest energy efficient applicances. During our extensive refurbishment during 2009/10 we took steps to insulate the building and stop heat escaping. We are somewhat contrained by the Grade 2* building so we can never be as green as newer hotels. The character single glazing and period features aren't all that great for the environment but without them this place just wouldn't be the same!
