Each bungalow has a private verandah overlooking the wetlands-dam tropical gardens and rainforest and has either a Queen-size or KingTwin Bed plus convertible sofa for one extra adult - kindly note there are no facilities for children under 12. There is an ensuite with large shower microwave electric cooktop fridge and all cooking utensils and the bungalows are air-conditioned have a ceiling fan and are fully insect-screened. No passing traffic TVs or radios - and your mobile phone will only work in Daintree Village 8km away. The only sound you will hear will be bird calls! A complimentary daily breakfast basket is supplied and includes a platter of tropical fruits some home-grown in season fruit juice cereals home-made jams and yoghurt locally-grown freshly-ground coffee and Daintree tea. Bring your own supplies and dine at home in your cabin or on the barbeque in the historic old open shed - perhaps have a dip in the jacuzzi while you cook your dinner! Self-cook meals and drinks are also available. There are several restaurants in and around Daintree Village. Far from the madding crowd yet convenient for all the beautiful region's activities - 10 minutes to Daintree Village 20 minutes to beautiful Wonga Beach - Cape Tribulation Mossman Gorge Port Douglas and the Cairns Highlands are all within a 1-2 hour drive. Your resident hosts Peter and Daphne are always available to help with local information and bookings if necessary but the emphasis is upon your comfort and privacy.
