Our Philosophy at The Snug is simply a quiet retreat within a home from home. Positioned within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Gweek is a tranquil riverside village that sits at the head of the Helford Estuary. It is probably best known for housing The National Seal Sanctuary which is only a short stroll from The Snug along with the local pub; The Gweek Inn. Gweek offers a perfect base to explore many areas of Cornwall either by land or water. We are only 15 minutes drive from bustling Falmouth town 15 minutes from the stunning Lizard peninsula 25 minutes from either St Michaels Mount or St Ives and 35 minutes from The Minack Theatre and Lands End. Based in an enviable position to explore all coasts you can do as much or as little as you wish. We are also based 50 minutes from Newquay Airport. We supply great locally sourced breakfasts together with local knowledge to actively promote the surrounding areas & activities within it. We are committed to offering a positive environmental stay such as sourcing all our food locally and by only using natural non toxic biodegradable products wherever possible keeping our home & our guests squeaky clean... but also green. Just as our name suggests The Snug's bedrooms are wonderfully comfy rooms. Being a spacious modern property it has allowed us to create exactly what we would want for ourselves when we go away; a quiet restful place to recharge our batteries yet also includes the everyday essentials that we simply just can't be without. We know what we love; soft sheets big comfy beds and mod cons therefore each room houses an Illy espresso machine flat-screen TV hair dryer & access to our wifi together with private shower rooms with natural luxurious toiletries. Being allergy aware even our goose down duvets & pillows are anti allergy health guard protected and where possible only natural cleaning products are used throughout our home.
