Perhaps spend a day at historic Stratford-up-Avon or simply meander through the Cotswolds visiting Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Broadway and other pretty villages. For garden lovers, Chedworth Roman Villa, Barnsley, Kiftsgate and Hidcote, plus Westonbirt and Batsford arboreta are within easy reach.
