The Old Joinery is a converted barn style building set back from the main house on the outskirts of the village of Cherhill. Set within the conservation area surrounded by open countryside with views up to the famous Cherhill White Horse and Ancient Monument. Crop circles are often discovered here during the summer months. The barn accommodates up to 6 people within luxury bedrooms (a twin a double and a super king) all with top quality bedding and accessories each with it's own stylish bathroom. All rooms have Sony flat screen Freeview TVs with a built in DVD/CD player WiFi Hairdryer and many other extras. Our double room is on the ground floor and we offer off street parking. There is an open plan lounge/ kitchen/ diner with leather sofas an oak dining table and chairs and a fully fitted kitchen. There is a small courtyard garden for the sole use of our guests. We welcome families cyclists and walkers and can offer a drying room and facilities to clean and store bikes securely. The village of Cherhill is a lovely location ideally set for walking cycling and sight-seeing. We are only 5 minutes from the World Heritage sites of Avebury Silbury Hill and the West Kennett Long Barrow and also Bowood Country House and Gardens. The typically English market town of Marlborough with its good shopping and fine restaurants is only 15 minutes away as is The Caen Hill Flight of Locks in the market town of Devizes. We are also ideally located to visit the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. Salisbury Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park can also be reached within an hour. We are 5 minutes from Wellington Barn. We have a village pub serving home made food and a Village Café serving breakfast lunch and afternoon tea both within easy walking distance. Note: Bookings are not accepted after 20.00 on the day of arrival.

From Chippenham Station catch the the X55 or X33 to The Strand in Calne (taking around 20 minutes). From the Strand you can catch the Wigglybus Line 1 to The Black Horse Pub in Cherhill (taking around 8 minutes). From here just cross the road to The Old Joinery. Alternatively from Chippenham Station you can get a taxi from the taxi rank for around £15.00 or a taxi from The Strand in Calne (outside the Library) for around £6.00.;
