Away from civilisation and extending onto more than 120 km of desert, the Erg Chegaga is the ideal site for a bivouac in the Sahara Desert. Fully renovated in 2010, there are a total of 21 accommodation units at this charming establishment. Facilities include a lobby, café and restaurant.
The bivouac of Naji is located 65 km from Mhamid, in the dunes of Chegaga, the most beautiful dunes of the Sahara Desert and 100 km from Foum Zguid.
The luxurious bivouac tents are 20 m² and feature comfortable bed linen, and a sanitary block of 6 toilets and 6 showers with an ecological warm water system. A refined kitchen can be used by guests before they sit around a fire under the starry sky or in the central tent. All are en suite with double or king-size bed.
From Foum Zguid to Chegaga via Lac Iriqui, it is 100 km; the second part of the route from Zagora to Mhamid across the desert is 65 km.
