We have stunning views across the River valley to the viaduct (built in 1907) and Cotehele House 14th NT property a short 20 min walk along by the River from Home Park. We are close to the village centre and boats and canoes can be launched on the River Tamar (check tide tables). There are two local pubs a village shop Beauty and massage at 'The Haven' Art at the 'Lime Kiln Gallery'. The Tamar Valley branch line connects Plymouth to Calstock with free parking at the station which is 5 mins walk from the house. We can suggest several picturesque local walks and for those who would like more of a challenge the wild beauty of Dartmoor is nearby. The fine sandy beaches are within easy driving distance to the North and South coasts.
