The Mill at Borrowby is a converted 16th Century flour mill which still has a few remaining features of its wonderful history located in a secluded wooded valley the mill offers a wonderful retreat to start your holiday or break. Our dining room which once housed the mill wheel is on the ground floor with a cosy feeling where we offer dinners and our Yorkshire traditional breakfast. We have four rooms each with its own style large comfy beds and all the facilities that you will require flat screen TVs tea & coffee making hair-dryers etc plus WiFi connection for the internet. On the same floor is our first bedroom Rievaulx a super-king double en-suite bedroom overlooking the wooded valley. Our 3 remaining rooms are located on the second floor; Fountains has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room is a spacious and airy room again over looking the wooded valley. Bolton is our standard double room and has its own private shower room. . We are located just off the A19 within easy reach of Market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton and are half way between the Yorkshire Dales /Yorkshire moors ideal for business as we are only 20 mins from Middlesborough or York. Our rooms of course are named after all the famous ruins which are only a short drive away for walkers we are very close to the Cleveland way and the Lyke wake walk and many more. York Minster Ripon and Durham all boast famous Catherderals are all within easy reach. For Horse Racing enthusiasts Thirsk Ripon Catterick Redcar and Wetherby are all close at hand. Directions:
The village of Borrowby is situated five miles from Thirsk just off the A19 trunk road also five miles from Northallerton taking the A168 to Thirsk and then the A19 north to Teesside and after one and a half miles - take the Knayton and Borrowby turn. The Mill Bed and Breakfast is just outside the village from the A19. Follow the signs for Borrowby and the Mill is situated along a private drive - just opposite the Borrowby stone village sign.;
