The north coast and all it offers is under an hour away. A great place to stop at is the town of Holt especially for cream tea and the delicatessen at Cley-next the sea is excellent. At that time you can take in Holkam Hall and walk on its superb beach. West Norfolk is an excellent area for cycling bird watching Lakenheath Fen Weeting heath and Welney are all easily reached.
