Located on the hillside in Loutraki, the beautiful port of Glossa, Skopelos is the Guest House Paschalitsa. Family owned and operated, the Guest house gives true island hospitality for all who visit.
Located in a traditional island neighbourhood, the guest house is a perfect retreat for those who wish to escape from the busy, fast paced lifestyles and just relax admiring the big blue and the green.
Our en-suite rooms and studious are spacious and traditionally decorated to reflect the islands ambient. All en-suite rooms and studios are equipped with toilet and shower, air conditioning, television, fridge freezer and balcony with stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the island of Skiathos. The studios also benefit from cooking facilities and dinning table. Off road parking is also available on first come first serve base.
Glossa/Loutraki (where the Guest house is located) is the first port of Skopelos yet its best kept secret. It is the quiet side of Skopelos Island and therefore has not been commercialized. It is here that you will still see donkeys in the cobblestone streets of Glossa, a rare site nowadays.
Loutraki has ruins all around the area such as roman baths, remains of Athena's temple, and a marketplace. This shows the civilization and prosperity that flourished on the island.
Close to Glossa is Agios Ioannis (St. John), a church/monastery located high upon a rock. It is a breathtaking site. It was the site of the wedding scene in the movie "MAMMA MIA". Many of the beautiful beaches nearby Glossa were featured in the movie.
