The Crown Inn is a 16th century pub made famous by Thomas Hardy as it featured in one of his more famous novels Tess of the D'Urbervilles as the Pure Drop Inn. The Crown still has many of the old features including the inglenook fireplacewooden beams and the priest hole(where the catholic priests hid in the 16th century during the reformation period).We Have 5 Beautiful rooms which all include free standing baths with power showers bath robes and body products.
