Welcome to 'The Black Horse Inn' a privately owned traditional 18th century village pub situated in the village of Blyton on the A159 four miles from Gainsborough and 10 miles from Scunthorpe. The village hosts the Blyton Park Driving Centre Blyton Fishing Ponds Blyton Ice Cream Parlour and is only 4.2 miles from Gainsborough Golf Club. We are within easy reach of Gainsborough Old Hall one of the few remaining Medieval Mansions in the country. Lincoln is a 25 minute drive which hosts Lincoln Cathedral used in the filming of 'The Da Vinci Code' and Lincoln Castle which houses one of the few original copies of the Magna Carta. We are also a short drive from the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. Simply visit us to eat and drink or maybe spend the night in one of our ensuite rooms complete with freeview flat screen TV complimentary towels & toiletries hospitality tray away from the pub giving you maximum privacy with free car park monitored 24 hours per day by CCTV. Our menu is one of traditional award winning homemade pub food using locally caught produce!! Ranging from good old traditional homemade pies to something a little different from our specials board. In our bar you will find traditional cask ales to be enjoyed in a cosy relaxed atmosphere complete with wood burners for those dark winter nights. - The Black Horse Inn has a 16 seat dining room as well as a 30 seat restaurant. In the good weather food is also served on the patio or in the beer garden to the rear of the property. Food is available seven days a week. Food in the week is available at lunchtime between 12-2.00pm & in the evening between 5.00-8.30pm. At a weekend food is available all day Saturday between 12.00-9.00pm & all day Sunday between 12.00-7.30pm. Breakfast is served daily between 7.30-8.30am.
