A 1.5 acre garden and wooded area with a gazebo formal area and pools for guests to enjoy in addition the vegeatable garden that is used to provide the vegetable for evening meals and is available for anyone who wishes to do some weeding! The external area is ideal for parties/ team building

Eco Policy:
In designing the rooms we were mindful of the environment and tried to provide comfort with an eye to renewable/energy efficient equipment. Double glazed windows and are fitted with draft excluders. Insulation on the external walls floor and roof space is at the highest level possible. Carpets have a high wool content; the underlay is a recycled material sheets and blankets are natural fibres. The toilets are low volume flush models. Heating is by the most energy efficient boiler available using thermostatically controlled skirting radiators and under floor heating when possible. Energy efficient bulbs are used wherever possible. Organic methods are used to grow vegetables paper and kitchen waste is recycled. We buy local produce where possible. Leaflets are available on local environmental attractions including circular walks. We ask that towels to be washed are placed in the bath; otherwise they are dried and returned for reuse the washing is completed overnight
