Each of our specially designed 4-star Scandinavian-style lodges are spacious fully accessible and equipped for wheelchair users and offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Located in two positions our hillside lodges offer stunning panoramic views and burnside lodges are in closer proximity to the main centre. Hillside lodges offer 2 twin and 1 double bedroom each and all burn side lodges offer three twin rooms one of which has an overhead ceiling hoist a fully accessible family bathroom with entry level showers grab rails and seats height adjustable sink and baths plus separate toilet a large open-planned lounge dining and kitchen area and furnished patio or veranda. Each is fully equipped with everything you could need from HD DVD player 32 HD flat screen TV digital stereo with iPod docking station and telephone to washer/dryer dishwasher fridge/freezer microwave crockery cutlery and all bedding - theres even height adjustable work tops sink and hob to make life that bit easier! Cots highchairs and cotsides are available on request and all bed linen supplied but not towels. Self-catering guests also have free use of our hydrotherapy pool (booking required) and for a small fee the sauna. We also have a fully licensed bar a pre-bookable takeaway service and DVD library. Pets are welcome in certain lodges for which there is an additional fee. Activities From the centre site we offer archery climbing (indoor and out) abseiling zip wire king swing golf buggying and orienteering (indoor and out) and from our boathouse sailing canoeing motor cruising and kayaking theres even a Saturday night BBQ in summer -weather permitting! Self-catering guests are welcome to join the outdoor activity sessions subject to availability and additional fees. Alternatively mountain bikers can experience the new off-road 17km trail at Kielder Water & Forest Park.
