Our bed and breakfast is housed in a renovated 200 year old stone farmhouse (completed 2012). It retains much of the original character but is fully equipped with all the facilities you'd expect during a break away. Drawing on 3.5yrs of continuous adventure motorcycle travel we aim to provide the perfect base to explore Wales: whether you want to hike up a mountain enjoy the wildlife explore Wales' natural beauty or relax in front of a log fire you're assured of a warm welcome as you meet new friends. During extensive World travels we realised that accommodation rarely met all the requirements of the perfect motorcycle base so have dedicated the last two years to renovating an old farmhouse in the centre of Wales to finally offer such a place. Based at Neuadd-Ddu Llangurig in Mid Wales we are situated in an ideal location to explore Wales during a few days. Enjoy some of the UK's highest rated motorcycle roads or take to the dirt and hone your off-road techniques. Rik Davis spent 3.5yrs riding 110 000 miles through 50 countries around the World on a BMW (www. thebigbiketrip. com) - he loves travelling adventure and motorcycles. We opened in Easter 2012 and also have two holiday cottages (www. holidaybarns. co.uk) available on site that are well suited for couples through to larger groups. We have 2 en-suite bedrooms one offering a king size bed the other offering two single size beds (can be pushed together for couples). The rooms come complete with linen & towels Flat screen TV/DVD tea & coffee facilities shower gel shampoo and a hairdryer.

During the warmer months you are welcome to enjoy our outside garden areas including the BBQ sun decks loungers and tables. When it turns colder if you want to relax in the guest lounge in front of the warmth and glow of a log fire while looking out over the Cambrian mountains we've got it covered! We offer secure parking for vehicles and recreational gear whilst a fully equipped workshop can be made available on request.

Unfortunately due to physical restrictions during building renovation we do not currently have special facilities for people with mobility issues. Please note that bedrooms are located on the 1st floor which requires the negotiation of stairs which have a handrail fitted.

Directions:
From the roundabout at Llangurig take the A470 (A44) towards Rhayader. Drive for 3 miles and we are located on the left hand side of the road approx. 0.5 miles after the Radnorshire sign (which you will see on the left hand side of the road). If you miss the house which is before a large layby also on the left hand side turn into the layby and double back on the small lane which will bring you to the front of the house.;
