Beautifully furnished and incorporating large en-suite wetrooms with heated flooring and deep slipper baths these are truly rooms fit for a King. Chaucer House in the wonderful historic City of Canterbury resides directly opposite the New Marlowe Theatre and is centrally located within the medieval city walls ensuring that all restaurants and of course the magnificent Cathedral are but a short walk away. Parking is to be found at Pound Lane car park directly behind the theater. Breakfast is provided from 07:30 to 09:30 and can be served in-room at no extra charge. The menu is subject to change but will always contain an option for Full English Breakfast using first class locally sourced ingredients. Alternatively a Continental Option is offered containing Pastries that are baked the same day. Whatever your choice breakfast is served with fresh juices and quality Teas and Coffee. After 13:00 Chaucer House is unmanned although the security is monitored until 0645am and access to the building is via a pin code entry system. Each code is allocated at the time of booking and will gain access to your room and the main door 24hours a day until 1200pm on the day of departure. This allows the guests to enjoy the facilities without interference. Of course if there is a problem then someone will always be available. To further enhance your experience a guest basket containing some deli items are provided so that any little cravings are catered for. The fact that there is only one other Bedroom in the building allows guests to relax in the lounge and sun room areas or the kitchen diner with the minimum amount of disturbance. Please be advised that Chaucer House has a strict No Smoking policy.
