Greenway Farm is a family home set in 8 acres of land just off the A39 in Bridgwater Somerset. The Farm is home to Martin & Sue Felstead their dog Thistle and 2 cats as well as several ponies pigs sheep hens and geese. We have lived here for eleven years now and in that time have established and developed a thriving business focusing on the land and our animals our activities include wedding receptions and family parties outside catering (particularly involving hog roasts) and we also offer home-reared pork and lamb and our own home-made sausages for sale as well as running sausage making and meat curing courses. The farm has a warm atmosphere and friendly the breakfast ingredients are all sourced locally some from the Farm itself there are 2 rooms although please note that one is located in a hand-crafted shepherd s hut with central heating and an en-suite shower room to avoid confusion please check the room descriptions before booking. Visitors to the area can enjoy bed and breakfast in our luxurious self-contained and en-suite king-size room with Sky TV and free internet access. Or they can opt for Mulberry Retreat - a hand-crafted and beautifully-furnished shepherd s hut with king-size bed en-suite shower room TV tea and coffee making facilities cosy armchairs and fridge. We are a Certificated Location for The Caravan Club and welcome members for stays of up to 28 nights our rural location offers easy access to a number of local attractions such as the Quantock Hills and the local Jurassic coastline and numerous country villages such as Cannington Nether Stowey Holford Kilve and Dunster. Exmoor and Minehead are not far away and the spectacular Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival in early November provides another excellent reason to visit the Farm s location makes it ideal for the business traveller being close to the A39 and to the M5. If you enjoy walks in the countryside and charming rural pubs then these are in plentiful supply and the attractions of Glastonbury Wells Bath and Bristol are no more than an hour s drive away. Post-recession people are seeking value for money and starting to re-discover the beauty of nature and her harvests.
