This traditional Lakeland Inn is located on the A65 road from M6 (J36) to Kendal road. We had an extensive refurbishment in Summer 2012 - as well as an all new look we also have the addition of our brand new luxury en-suite letting rooms. They are gorgeous luxury rooms with an intimate feel big comfy king size beds and huge fluffy towels. No need to travel for food and drink either just arrive relax unwind and let us do the rest. We have a friendly atmosphere and our speciality is our food. The delicious dishes are prepared with fresh local produce locally reared quality meat supplied by Plumgarths a local farmshop freshly caught fish and shrimps from Morecambe Bayand coffee from Farrer s our local coffee merchant. All our meals are prepared on the premises and daily specials are available - our Sunday roasts are not to be missed. We can also cater for vegetarians and vegans. You can choose a fine wine from our selection to accompany your meal or enjoy alone and we also have a good selection of other drinks including guest ales which change regularly and are mostly chosen by the locals.
