Casitas de Mar is located between the fishing villages of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, in the municipality of Haria, north of the island of Lanzarote, in a neighborhood of small houses, located just 10 meters from the seashore. The complex is outside from the touristic areas of the island and all the neighbors are residents of the complex, making it a very quiet at all hours of the day. In either of the two locations, Punta Mujeres 100 mts or Arrieta 1 km are grocery stores, supermarkets, gas station and some typical restaurants. In the area of Punta Mujeres there are natural saltwater pools.

A little further away is the village called Maguez where on Saturday mornings is flea market with local made products and crafts. Further north is the village of Orzola with restaurants serving the best fish of the island where cruise ships to the island of La Graciosa depart.
