The hotel SandStern in Bamberg has been run by a new owner since the beginning of the new saison of 2011. Reception and breakfast room have been relocated, the hotel has been under massive renovation, though the comfortable, classical style has been maintained. The whole hotel is a non-smoking one, yet the guests can enjoy their cigarettes in the cosy courtyard with views onto the Residenz. All rooms come with shower, WC and TV.
