The16th century farmhouse B&B has been sensitively restored to retain its original charm and character with exposed beams polished oak floorboards and log fires. Very comfortable beds wool throws soft colours and views into the garden overflowing with plants and wildlife. That along with the homemade cakes for afternoon tea is what visitors find enchanting. The holiday accommodation at Beili Neuadd comprises a self-catering Bunkhouse which is an imaginative conversion of an 18th Century stone barn adjacent to the Farmhouse which can accommodate up to 16 people. Original beams and arrow slit windows have been beautifully incorporated into the simple but beautiful conversion. Beili Neuadd Bunkhouse is the ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts from ramblers cyclists canoeists to young adventurers doing Duke of Edinburgh awards. It is a superb venue for parties and celebrations with the cosiness and comfort required to help foster the bonhomie of a group; and is a perfect situation with lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area. The centrally heated self catering barn sleeps 16 in 3 en-suite rooms. Beili Neuadd (pronounced "bailey niath") means Enclosure Hall in Welsh. The stone and slate farmhouse dates back to the 16th century and is reputed to stand on the historical boundary of the Cistercian Abbey of Cwmhir the burial place of the last Welsh born Prince of Wales. Beautifully situated in rolling sheep pasture in the upper River Wye catchment Beili Neuadd has delightful views and stands in 6 acres of gardens and paddocks with a stream ponds and woodland. It is two miles from the small market town of Rhayader and 6 miles from the Elan Valley Reservoirs ('The Lakeland of Wales') in the Cambrian Mountains.
All our bedrooms have very comfortable beds are decorated simply but with lovely individual touches. Tea/coffee making facilities and home made cake/scones refreshed daily. Each room has either an en-suite or its own private bathroom. There are no televisions in the bedrooms as this is provided in the guest sitting room. Radios are provided.

The farmhouse B&B has a steep flight of steps to a landing from which 2 further steps lead up to the main landing with bedrooms off this. There are no lifts.
